InnerSelf Newsletter: June 21, 2019

Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.

This week we take a look at the empowerment process and the steps therein. To become empowered, we start with having awareness of a situation or need. Being aware of a need can lead us to a change in attitude which then inspires us to take action. Our first featured article, by Sue Patton Thoele, "It Is Essential Now To Expand Our Awareness and Elevate Our Attitude" deals with the first two aspects of empowerment: awareness and attitude. Sarah Varcas, in "Eris: The Radical Feminine Rises", takes an insightful and inspiring look, from an astrological perspective, at the current move towards empowerment.

Several tools and methods of empowerment are presented in our featured articles: Regular InnerSelf author, Jude Bijou, invites us to tune in to our intuition in "Intuition: Firing Up Your Power Source". Dominique Antiglio suggests you "Take a Few Minutes to Build Your Positive Future", Susanne Weikl offers "Active Daydreaming Techniques for Tapping into Nature" and Theresa Cheung reminds us that "Rituals Have The Power To Boost Your Motivation, Understanding and Wellbeing". And Pam Younghan's "Astrological Journal" sheds light on the energies of the week to help empower our daily choices.

These, and the numerous additional articles added to the InnerSelf website this week (all mentioned below) are presented with the intent to assist you on your life path and to empower you to create a life that is fulfilling and life-affirming. Each one of us has a role to play in this game of life, and we support you in taking your power in hand and at heart, and making your contribution, whatever it is meant to be.

Please scroll down for the featured articles in this new issue of InnerSelf, and also the recap of all the articles that were added to the website during the week.

Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, and loving week.

It Is Essential Now To Expand Our Awareness and Elevate Our Attitude

Written by Sue Patton Thoele

It Is Essential Now To Expand Our Awareness and Elevate Our Attitude

Society desperately needs the tempering and respectful energy of feminine strength. The Chinese proverb “When sleeping women wake, mountains move” is being affirmed by societal shifts throughout the world. We are awake and deeply aware that our strength, wisdom, and compassion are needed.

Eris: The Radical Feminine Rises

Written by Sarah Varcas

Eris: The Radical Feminine Rises

Mythological Eris is the goddess of discord and rivalry.  Astrological Eris challenges us to look with eyes wide open and free from all guile at who we are and what we do – personally and collectively – to perpetuate inequalities and oppression the world over.

Intuition: Firing Up Your Power Source

Written by Jude Bijou

Intuition: Firing Up Your Inner Power Source

Intuition is the invisible link between our personal inner world of emotions and thoughts and our outer world connection point through speech and action. Intuition reveals what is really true for us deep down. It illuminates the high road, the graceful path of least resistance, and the route to living in the flow.

Just a Few Minutes to Build Your Positive Future

Written by Theresa Cheung

Rituals Have The Power To Boost Your Motivation, Understanding and Wellbeing

Our daily actions shape our lives. Repeat an action long enough and it becomes a habit, but habits lack meaning. To ensure meaningful change, our actions need to be filled with personal feeling and meaning. They need to be ritualized.
