Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.

Everyone probably can agree that we are living in strange times... new experiences, new attitudes, new challenges. But we can be encouraged in remembering that everything is always in flux, everything changes. Pam Younghans, in this week's "Astrological Journal" shares: ""What seems insurmountable now will actually become more attainable over the months ahead, as we continue to strengthen our resolve, align more fully with our integrity, and fine tune our intentions."

So how do we do that? How do we strengthen our resolve? Jude Bijou suggests and gives us the tools to "Banish Worry and STOP Feeling Overwhelmed, One Peaceful Step At A Time".

How do we align more fully with our integrity? By connecting with "Ksham?: Patience, Peace and Gratitude in a Time of Pandemic". Another method, as Diana Rowan recommends, is to "Face Your Darkness and Step Into Your True Power".

The final step? We fine-tune our intentions by "Rising Up with the Potent Force of Aloha" and by standing up for ourselves and for what is right. It is time for a major change in the power structures, not just in our own self (our priorities, our choices) but also in the world around us. Read my article: "Women Arise: Be Seen, Be Heard, and Take Action" for an inspiring and motivational look at the possibilities for the United States.

Sarah Varcas rounds up our featured articles by reflecting on the Astrology of 2020: "...it speaks of a formidable challenge to our freedom of self-determination, to liberty of thought, speech, movement and association, and to our right to decide how we understand and respond to the events and challenges in our own lives. The good news is this: with Mars now conjunct the equally formidable Eris until the end of the year, there’s plenty of energy available to those who choose the path of the sovereign-self not the fear-ridden, vulnerable dependent one... Claim that energy as your own and use it well. The quality of our collective future depends upon it and if we stand together strong, freedom, love and liberty can – and will – prevail. "

These are times of claiming our own truth, our own power, our own vision, and being willing to take the actions necessary to create the future we envision for ourselves and for the children of Planet Earth. This is not the time to be a couch-potato, or an "innocent" bystander or voyeur simply watching things unfurl on TV or online. We are all connected. What happens to one affects us all. It is time to claim our oneness and for us to take action for the greater good. No one gets to sit this one out. Not doing anything is doing something... Not feeding love, compassion and empathy is feeding apathy and disconnection and even hatred. It is time to strenghten our resolve, align with integrity, and clarify and act upon our intentions. This world is ours. This life is ours. The game is on! Get ready, get set, go!

Please scroll down for the featured articles in this new issue of InnerSelf, and also the recap of all the articles that were added to the website during the week.

Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, health-full, and loving week.

Banish Worry and STOP Feeling Overwhelmed, One Peaceful Step At A Time

Written by Jude Bijou

Banish Worry and STOP Feeling Overwhelmed One Peaceful Step At A Time
These are indeed troubled times. Between covid19, politics, Black Lives Matter, and the upcoming election, there is not a lot of uplifting news to be had. Actually, the opposite is true. It's easy to get discouraged and freaked out.

Face Your Darkness and Step Into Your True Power

Written by Diana Rowan

Facing Your Darkness and Stepping Into Your True Power
While I thought my biggest fear was of the unknown, of losing control, of being horrified by the darkness inside and around me, it turns out that darkness had been my friend all along. Darkness, my most cryptic ally, pointed me toward light and connection. Darkness showed me — and still shows me — the Bright Way.

Rising Up with the Potent Force of Aloha

Written by Jonathan Hammond

Rising Up with the Potent Force of Aloha
In every given moment, each of us has a glorious opportunity to release our self-limiting stories, learn to live from our true nature, and become the highest and brightest expression of ourselves. And I know of no better, more practical, or more effective system to guide you there than Huna, the esoteric knowledge and philosophy of Hawaii.

Women Arise: Be Seen, Be Heard, and Take Action

Written by Marie T. Russell, InnerSelf

Women Arise: Be Seen, Be Heard, and Take Action
I called this article "Women Arise: Be Seen, Be Heard, and Take Action", and while I am referring to the women highlighted in the videos below, I am also speaking of each of us. And not just of those of us in female bodies, but to all the "rising feminine" in all of us, male or female.

Astrology in the Age of Covid-19

Written by Sarah Varcas

Astrology in the Age of Covid-19
We are living in unprecedented times. Times which demand the calling forth of qualities to match the gravity of this moment. As an astrologer, this means an unflinching sense of integrity in the face of current challenges, and a willingness to question the dominant narrative.
