Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.

How we see things, or our perception of what is, makes a huge difference in our state of mind. We can make ourselves miserable with ideas, thoughts, projections, assumptions, fears, etc. that may be unfounded in reality. So this week, we focus on shifting our perception... sometimes by breaking away from old attitudes and beliefs, and other times by accessing new information.

We start off with Jude Bijou who writes about "Putting A New Spin On Our Thoughts and Experiences". We follow that with Alan Cohen asking "Are You Ready to Take Off Your Mask?" -- and this is not referring only to the Covid mask but to the masks we wear over our true self that hide our inner light. 

We often block ourselves in the area of pleasure, abundance, and happiness due to restrictive thoughts and beliefs. Those beliefs can stop us from experiencing these very things we seek - love, joy, and happiness. Julia Paulette Hollenbery gives us a new perspective in "An Abundance of Pleasure Is Possible For All". 

In my article this week, I write about "Finding Your Way and Flowing with The Mystery of Life". This is the article that was created and used for the Daily Inspiration last week. This is the complete version of the article, along with audio and video versions. 

Robert Jennings, co-publisher of InnerSelf.com, shares his insights and information as to "Why Google, Facebook and The Internet are Failing Humanity and Little Critters". Another article that presents some powerful information is "Lead exposure during childhood may influence adult personality".

And, our regular astrological column is available for the "Horoscope Week: October 18 - 24, 2021". The opening line of Pam's article ties in with the change of perception that is needed at this time: "The egg must crack for new life to emerge. This week, the planets provide the energy that will both drive new growth and accelerate the breaking away of old encasements." In order for a new, more loving world to be born, we must come out of our shell and start seeing things with new eyes and a loving heart.
