Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.

This week we reflect on the season of aging... in nature that is autumn, in humans, it starts at birth. While we usually think of aging as something "for old people", one could say it starts from the minute we are conceived, are born, and on to the time we leave this life.

What is important is what we do with the years in between. We start our exploration into this topic with Carl Greer, who reflects on "Designing a New Future for Yourself". And this process can start at any age, and of course, the earlier the better.

We then move on to the animal kingdom, and since humans are part of that kingdom, the advice given in this article also applies to us: "How To Help Your Dog Live A Long and Healthy Life". Nature also assists us in staying healthy as shared in "Wildflower Apothecary: Fall Medicine".

And throughout our life, we have "So Many Questions... So Many Answers?" and we learn, whether in an organized fashion (school) or in life itself. Robert Jennings shares some insights on education in "Becoming Passionate About Public Education Again".

As we mature, we may find ourselves "Turning from Doing to Being" and discovering a whole new aspect of life that eluded us in the younger years of the busyness of life. However, there is no need to wait until "old age" for this as it is never too early to learn to relax and learn the importance of "being" at one with all that is.

Pam Younghans writes in the "Horoscope Week: October 11 - 17, 2021":

"Our success going forward from here will be built on the insights that we gained... This is ... about honoring the deeper awareness we now have, and allowing it to guide our next steps."

That rather sums up the numerous stages of life where we learn from others, as well as from experience, and move ahead on our life's journey as we progress from childhood to being a wise elder in our society.

Please scroll down for the recap and links to the new articles and videos that were added to the website during the week.

Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, health-full, and loving week.
