The focus for today's inspiration is:

When angry and resentful I stop and ask myself:
Would I rather be right or be happy?

Sometimes long-held angers can ignite fires that burn the other people we come into contact with. Sometimes they slowly poison our relationships.

Most of the time, they take the joy out of our lives by reminding us of our "right" to be angry, to be resentful, to hate. Yet hatred, anger and resentment do not a happy person make.

I am reminded of the question: Would you rather be right or be happy?
