"Time Heals All Wounds." Image by Alexa from Pixabay
Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.
The creator of the above graphic put its' description as "Time Heals All Wounds", and while this may be true, it doesn't necessarily "just happen". We have to participate. We have to do our part.
Whether the illness is physical due to lack of healthy habits or perhaps overabundance of bad habits, if we just continue on the same path we are on, nothing will change. We have to do something, we have to take action, we have to make different choices, in order for the healing to take place. And this goes for emotional healing as well.
If we remain stuck in old attitudes of blame, judgment, criticism, resentments, anger, etc. etc. then nothing changes... well, except for maybe things getting worse as we dig ourselves deeper into the ruts created by repeating these negative energies and patterns over and over again. So in order for "time to heal all wounds" we have to change, we have to initiate the healing ourselves. It's up to us! The "response-ability" is ours.
Our featured articles this week bring you various tools and insights on how to heal yourself, your life -- past, present, and future. Let the healing begin (and continue).
