InnerSelf's Daily Inspiration

October 6-7-8, 2023

The focus for today (and the weekend) is:

I choose thoughts that honor myself
and are accepting of other people.

Today's inspiration was written by Jude Bijou:

Thinking comes with an incredible responsibility because we create how we feel, speak, and do by what we think.

If I want to feel good, I need to entertain thoughts that honor myself and that are accepting of other people.

I need to keep tabs on my thoughts and just enjoy breathing in air and taking in the miraculousness of being a human being.

Today's inspiration was adapted from the InnerSelf.com article:
Putting A New Spin On Our Thoughts and Experiences
     Written by Jude Bijou.

This is Marie T. Russell, co-publisher of InnerSelf.com, wishing you a day of choosing thoughts of love and acceptance (today and every day)

Comment from Marie:
As Jude Bijou writes in the article from which the Daily is excerpted, our thoughts are private. However, I would hasten to add that just because they're private doesn't mean that thinking trash thoughts is OK. The thoughts we think affect our well-being and will be felt intuitively by those around us. So it is important to keep an eye, and an ear, on the thoughts rolling around in our head, and choose the ones that will support a happier result, both internally and externally.

Our focus for today: I choose thoughts that honor myself and are accepting of other people.
