InnerSelf Newsletter: December 9th, 2018

Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.

This week a word that seems to occur often in the featured articles is Presence... teamed with awareness, awakening, attunement, being in the present -- all basically the same vibration or message. Even this week's astrological journal encourages us to "...evolve beyond the level of the personality, into the realms of expanded consciousness, so that we might fulfill the higher destiny of awakening Heaven on Earth."

We launch this new issue of InnerSelf with Alan Seale sharing "How To Create A World That Works: Do What “Wants To Happen” In The World Through You". I found his article, which comes from the Intro of his new book "Transformational Presence: How To Make a Difference In a Rapidly Changing World", very moving and inspiring. Teal Swan, author of The Anatomy of Loneliness, follows with an invitation to "Connect With and Understand Others Through Awareness and Attunement".

Joy Vissell reveals "The Secret to the Love and Joy of our 50-Year Marriage" and Alan Cohen reminisces with "Guess Who’s Coming to Christmas Dinner". Les Jensen encourages us to "Be (the) Present: It's The Best Gift There Is" and Darren Cockburn introduces "Presence Meditation: Awareness of Thought and Breath". Alexia Vernon clarifies that the butterfly feeling in our stomach as we approach a new venture or a change is "...Not Fear, It’s Sensation"

And of course, we have numerous additional articles on a variety of topics from health, to parenting, climate change, farming, diets, etc. etc. Scroll down below for the links to all the new article for this week.

Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, and loving week.

by Joyce Vissell

The Joy and Secret of a Long Love

December 21, 1968 was our wedding day. It was the happiest day for me. It’s Not Fear, It’s Sensation

If you’re anything like me, or at least who I used to be, my hunch is that when you are on the cusp of doing (and especially saying) something big, important, and paradigm shifting, you label what you are experiencing in your body as fear.
