InnerSelf Newsletter: August 19th, 2018

Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.

This week in honor of August being National Happiness Month, we look at "what makes us happy" and the converse is of course "what makes us unhappy". However, the answer to both of these questions is the same. What? Yes, we make ourselves happy and/or unhappy by our choices, our attitudes, our thoughts, our judgments, our loving acceptance of other human beings, of ourselves, and of life itself.

This week we feature some of our regular

About The Author

Alan Cohen (Where Healing Really Lives), Barbara Berger (Can Black And White Thinking Make You Happy?), and Charles Eisenstein (The Three Seeds: From Separation to Reunion). And we introduce a new "regular author", 82-year-old Jane Wyker (The Happiness Factor: Celebrating What Makes Us Happy). We also welcome back Rabbi Daniel Cohen (When You Are Rejected, Say Thank You).

The Three Seeds: From Separation to Reunion

Written by Charles Eisenstein

The Three Seeds: From Separation to Reunion

Once upon a time, the tribe of humanity embarked upon a long journey called Separation. It was not a blunder as some, seeing its ravages upon the planet, might think; nor was it a fall, nor an expression of some innate evil peculiar to the human species.
