Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.
When I was young, I recall there was a soap-opera called As The World Turns. What an appropriate title for our lives... As the world turns, we live our dramas, our joys, our love, our sorrows, our whatever we choose to experience and others around us choose to experience. Yet through it all, the world continues to turn, oblivious to our dramas, though unfortunately not immune from the consequences of our actions.
This week is the solstice and the beginning of a new season. Perhaps, we can make it the beginning of a new season in our lives as well -- in our attitudes and actions. As the picture above shows, no matter what is happening on the outside, on the inside remains the small child we all were: innocent, loving, vulnerable. This is who we are: the innocent child, wanting to give and receive love with no strings attached, no agendas.
I write this on Father's Day, and wish for all men to reconnect with the loving and nurturing father energy inside of themselves as well as with the loving nurturing mother energy. All energy is one, and love has no gender, no barriers, no restrictions. And when we encounter situations and people that don't seem to be expressing their loving nature, remember that everyone is doing what they think is best at this time... and that everyone is in the process of evolving.
The transition from a caterpillar to a butterfly is not an easy or pretty one. It is a rough ride... and this is the time we are experiencing now. The transition from the age of greed and lust for power, to the age of sharing, caring, and oneness. It is possible, and we are the ones who can make it happen... one by one, moment by moment, experience by experience.
I will be slowly easing back into a work schedule after over a month of recuperating from eye surgery. I still am restricting computer screen time, but am able to spend more time at the computer and resume preparing articles for your reading pleasure. As for Daily Inspiration subscribers, you will need to be a bit more patient, as I am not ready to make that daily time commitment just yet.
They say that time heals all wounds. I see that taking place, albeit slowly, with my eyes. I wish you healing as well in all aspects of your life... physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. We are wholistic beings and we must learn to nurture all parts of ourselves and of Mother Earth.
Thank you to all who sent me "get well soon" messages after my surgery. Your caring touched my heart.
Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, health-full, and loving week.
...with love and gratitude,
