InnerSelf's Daily Inspiration

June 3, 2024

The focus for today is:

I choose to make myself a priority and be true to myself.

Today's inspiration was written by Jeanne Collins:

What if you asked yourself, "Do I make myself a priority?" How would you answer? Most of us would hesitate before boldly declaring "Sometimes yes!"

I realized that my real power arose from my ability to adapt and take in the big picture. I started to change the way I approached my life by going all-in on being true to myself. This is Marie T. Russell, co-publisher of InnerSelf.com, wishing you a day of making yourself a priority (today and every day)

Comment from Marie:
We, women especially, tend to put ourselves 2nd or last. We put the needs and desires of others before ours. But, as we've been told, you must put on your oxygen mask first, or also, you can't pour from an empty pitcher. So we need to prioritize ourselves... our health - physical and mental - and take time to nurture, and be good to, ourselves.

Our focus for today: I choose to make myself a priority and be true to myself.
