I'll be “on the road” again this week, so I’ve prepared another inspiration to guide us through the days ahead. This may be another intense and powerful week. However, the direction of our focus and our energy changes the effect of the energies that surround us.
Our life is like a recipe and we get to pick the ingredients. Sometimes we might not have control on the temperature or the length of time the recipe "cooks", but we can adjust the ingredients to still create a life that is not only palatable, but also healthy and enjoyable.
The focus for the week is:
I choose to create a "life recipe" that will produce
joy, health, happiness, and peace of mind.
This week’s inspiration is based on the article “What's Your Recipe for a Happy Life?” by yours truly.
What are the instructions you are accepting or giving yourself as you prepare your recipe for a happy life? You’re in charge of your life… you’re the chef.
And just because there’s a whole bunch of ingredients in your fridge and cupboards (or people in your life), it doesn’t mean you have to include them all – or any of them -- in your recipe. You select the ingredients -- thoughts, beliefs, actions, people -- that will work best for what you have in mind.
And that’s where you need to make sure that what you are holding in your mind and in your heart is a recipe that will produce joy, health, happiness, and peace of mind—and not a recipe for fear, misery, and chaos.
