InnerSelf.com welcomes your inner Self.
It's easy (unfortunately) to get caught up in the same old, same old... attitudes, concepts, beliefs, stories, expectation... Yet, everything is in a constant state of change. We ourselves personally, the people around us (whether we see it or not), and the world we live in are all in a state of change, of growth, or transformation. Some of the changes appear beneficial, and others appear detrimental, but sometimes what appears terrible turns out to be a blessing somehow.
Yet, our role it to hold a vision of a better world, and then do what we can to make it come true. Staying in "poor me" or "poor us" attitudes will only feed the flames of desperation and stagnation. For us to create a better world, we must have a vision of what we are striving for, and then look within our heart, using our mind and our intuition, to see what our role is. What can we (each one of us) do to create a better world?
If we are here on Team Planet Earth it means we have a role to play. Don't let yourself be discouraged by naysayers, or doomsday-sayers. Hold to your vision of a better future for all and then see what your role is... whether small or large it doesn't matter. Just as in a jigsaw puzzle, some pieces are smaller than others, some are corners and edges thus setting a foundation or structure, but every single piece is important for the completion of the puzzle. And our piece or part joins with others and creates a bigger piece of the puzzle.
What's your role? It doesn't have to be extravagant. It simply has to be real and to come from your truth guided by your inner being. There is no role that is too small to matter. We all matter. And we all can (and do) make a difference.
