InnerSelf.com welcomes your inner Self.
We each have eyes and we each have our own perception of life. Some see life as painful, others as a challenge, others as a game to be played or to be enjoyed, etc. etc. No matter how we see life, our beliefs color our perception. If we think our world is full of angry people, more and more of them seem to appear in our life. If we expect life to be a struggle, we seem to find struggle everywhere we turn. If we think life is meant to be enjoyed, we find more things to appreciate and be joyful about.
It doesn't mean there are no challenges in our life. It simply means that we see them as opportunities, or learning experiences, or just another rainy day. Some days it's cloudy and it rains, and other days the sun shines. And so it is with our life. We can dwell on the "bad weather" we are experiencing, or we can live accordingly and yet look forward to the next sunshiny experience.
We do control our attitude, our perception -- how we see things. The brain is a miraculous tool, and the heart even more so. Use your innate talents and blessings to create a life where Good is the prevailing energy and the ongoing motivation. Seek the good in yourself and in others, and help create more Good in the world. That's our mission (whether we've chosen to accept it or not).
