This is Marie T. Russell, co-publisher of InnerSelf.com, wishing you a day of  connecting to the Earth as you walk (today and every day).

Comment from Marie:
We walk on Mother Earth every day, but we usually are separated from her by roads, cement sidewalks, tile floors, carpets, etc. For us to connect truly with the Earth's healing energy, it is best to be barefoot on the bare earth or grass. Feel the earth, let it fill you with energy, and in return give it your gratitude for its bounty. Open yourself via your heart and your feet to receive the energy that the  Earth is making available to us each and every day.

Allow the ground to massage your feet so that your feet and toes spread out more with every step.
