The focus for today is:  I choose to stop taking myself so seriously.

A lot of us think of meditation as something austere or serious... definitely not something we'd do for fun.

That may be because we have tended to think of anything that is connected to spirituality or religion as very serious. After all, laughing in church - at least not in "serious" churches - was not allowed.

But while we need to be sincere, we do not need to be serious. And, a lot of troubles in the world are based on various people taking themselves, and their beliefs, way too seriously.
