Today's Inspiration

by Marie T. Russell, InnerSelf.com

The focus for today's inspiration is:

I choose to expect things to get better.

Listen to audio/mp3 version here:

In order to make a new dream come about, we have to be willing to let go of any limitations we have placed on ourselves and on others, and be willing to expect the best from everyone, including ourselves.

Change, by its very nature, means letting go of the past, of the way things were, and perhaps of the way we have expected them to be.

We must be willing to expect our dreams to come true, or as the affirmation goes "this, or something better".

by Wayne Dosick.

book cover: Radical Loving: One God, One World, One People by Wayne Dosick. For many of us, it feels as if our world is breaking apart. Long-held, comfortable beliefs are being shattered, and we face unprecedented questions and challenges. How do we heal the harsh divisions of class, race, religion, and cultures that plague us? How do we vanquish sexism, rigid fundamentalism, unabashed nationalism, senseless hatred, and violent terrorism? How do we save our precious planet from the threats to its very existence?
