"Dare to dream & create a vision for your life."
                                         (Chakra Cards for Belief Change)

Things are not always as they seem. Sometimes we misinterpret or misunderstand what we see or hear. And at other times, we may be misled intentionally by others for their own self-interest. However, we do have the capability of discerning truth from falsehood, love from manipulation, and light from dark.

We can access clarity by getting quiet and listening inside our own heart, soul, and intuition. We can also tune in to the feelings in our body. Our body knows when something is "off" or feels "icky". Our mind can also assist us in discerning truth, as long as the ego is not involved and benefiting from the deception.

Clarity is gifted to us from many sources and many directions. This requires us to center ourselves quietly and listen to the messages that come our way. It requires that we go inward in order to listen, reflect, and understand. Clarity is ours when we take the time to seek it out.

Communication

There are times that we need to communicate our truth with others. But first, we must get clear about our intention. Do we simply wish to feel better about something we did (or didn't do). Or perhaps, we wish to make the other person feel guilty or try to convince them that we were right? Or is our intention to create harmonious understanding and communication with the person involved?

Communication is not a one-way street. It is not just about speaking our mind. It is also about listening... listening to the other person, as well as listening to our heart before we speak.

In order to create the world we dream of, we must learn to communicate, collaborate, and cooperate. That takes two-way communication, and it takes being willing to be vulnerable when speaking our truth. It takes being willing to let the other speak their truth, and listen with an open heart without judgment or blame.

Self-Expression

Once we have gotten clear about who we are and have learned the art of communication by both listening and speaking, we can then start to live our truth. We express our Self not only through our words and actions, but through our body language, our eyes, and even our clothes.

Knowing who we are is a wonderful thing, but it lacks form and power unless we express it out in the world through our body, eyes, and voice. Your voice, your perspective, your vision is unique. Unless you express it, others can not join forces with you to help empower your dream.

Some may not agree with you, but it is not about them. It is about you. It is about you finding your voice, your song, your essence, and letting it come forth from your heart and soul. Honor your Self and express your divine radiance out into the world.

Instinct

Just like other animals, we have instincts. These "gut feelings" usually alert us to situations that have the potential to harm us. Yet, at times our instinctual fearful reactions are based on ancestral fears, and don't have any bearing on our current reality. Thankfully, we also have a brain and a heart, and those come into play when making decisions.

Our instinct's messages are always based on something... it is up to us to discern if that something is truly valid in the here and now. Some of our fears are based in our past such as fear of abandonment, or starvation, or being burnt at the stake, chased by a lion, tiger or bear, etc.

When you feel your instinct speaking to you, pause and listen to what it is saying and why. And then check in with your mind and your heart as well. Ask all three to work together to reveal what the proper course of action is for you.

Support

We can be our own worst enemy by not giving ourselves what we need... whether that is rest, or exercise, fresh air and quality nutrition, or time with friends, or quiet time. When we are feeling out of sorts and off balance, that is the most important time to honor ourselves by providing ourselves with the support we need.

Support yourself, and others, with kind thoughts and words of encouragement. Practice compassion and understanding both for yourself and for others.

No matter what experiences we are going through, we can benefit from the support of others and most importantly, self-support. Allow yourself to give and receive support.

Harmony and Balance

When considering well-being, we need to include mind, body, and spirit. Well-being is found in the balance between all three when they work in harmony with each other. When we are dealing with others, the answer also exists somewhere in the middle ground of balance.

We create a life of happiness when we balance pleasure and purpose, as well as giving and receiving. Once we attain this state of balance in anything we deal with, our will and Divine Will are perfectly aligned.

We may think of choices as either/or decisions, but harmony is found in a balance between extremes.

Dare to Dream

We have accumulated years of fears and negative expectations. They have built upon each other to create a wall between us and the future we could dare to dream of.

With this build-up of negativity, we then have become hard on ourselves and on the world. We have believed that darkness is what is real, and that light is an illusion. But the reverse is actuality what is real.

Darkness rises out of our fear and our minds. It is the absence of light, love, trust, and compassion. When we have tried to fight darkness, we have been focusing in the wrong direction. The light of Love -- and its many attributes like caring, understanding, empathy, compassion -- is what is needed to dispel the darkness.

It is time to transmute our fears, our doubts, our negative expectations and turn towards a bright loving future. We need to first create it in our inner vision, and feed it with our energy, thoughts, and actions. The future is ours to create even as we walk through the shadows of the present "reality".

It is time for us to release the negativity of the past and move through the birthing canal of the new reality. It is time to spread our wings and dare to create our dream and vision of a better world.
