Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your Inner Self.
As usual, the goal of our articles is to help you create a better experience of life for yourself and for those around you, not just physically, but also emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Taking care of ourselves is of prime importance to have a life that is filled with joy and love. And to take care of ourselves, we need to learn to listen to our body and our intuition (the voice of our soul) and follow its guidance. This week Alan Cohen suggests Allowing Your Soul to Stand at the Helm and Guide Your Destiny while Lisa Garr asks What Works for Your Body? One of our new authors, Ash Stevens, shares her experiences and insights in Cravings: What Are They Telling Us? while Joyce Vissell recommends we reflect on how we treat ourselves when she writes: Are You More Important Than Your Cell Phone?
Sometimes things around us seem challenging yet, at times, the problem may simply reside in our perception of things. Barbara Berger shines her light on The Power of Right Seeing and Bringing Forth the Goodness of Life. And if you're having problems finding the "right" relationship, perhaps you're listening to the "wrong" advice, whether from others or from your own inner fears. Read "Love Excuses" Get In The Way of Falling In Love At Any Age or Stage to discover how you may be getting in your own way.

Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, and loving week.

Soul nourishment brings true value of life. You can wander from your soul’s path, but you cannot lose it. Even the apparent detours are a part of the journey to your true destination. What seems to be an oversleeping that misses one appointment is really an awakening to keep your true appointment.

When we think cravings, we tend to think potato chips, pizza, and sweets, and nights of gorging ourselves with foods saturated with salt from our tears of remorse. It may sound ridiculous to suggest that cravings can be used to benefit our bodies, but I’d say the problem isn’t cravings themselves, but how we view them.

When it comes to the best plan, I can’t tell you what’s right for your body. The truth is you have to figure that one out on your own because everyone is different. For instance, I don’t eat red meat because . . . well, I’ve never really eaten it. I just don’t like the taste of it.

Our online survey responses suggest that people can find love at anytime. But, when we ask single people from all walks of life if they feel they can find true love, the answers we receive have been quite the opposite.

Are we not more important than our cell phones? Our “batteries” run low as well. Few people are as urgent to charge their own batteries as they are to charge up their cell phone. We push and push ourselves to keep going and we don’t pay attention to our own battery or need to be recharged.

A great way to raise your energy, increase your power, and improve your life is to practice what I call ”right seeing”. By ”right seeing”, I mean focusing your attention on the Good that is already present in all people and situations.

It is also highly beneficial to reread the past week's astrological journal as it gives a hindsight view of the events that took place and may provide many "ah-ha" insights.
