Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your Inner Self.
This week we focus on attaining our dreams, clarifying what those dreams are, and allowing ourselves to experience the fullness of our vision. Things happen in our life that oftentimes seem insurmountable. Yet, that is usually not really true, it just appears to be so. You may simply need to be patient and pay attention because Guidance Will Come To You Exactly As You Need It. And it could be that you're looking for the answers in all the wrong places and need to focus on The Power of Meditation and Meditative Prayer.
The problem could even be that your goal or dream is not really yours. Have you ever asked yourself: Are Your Core Values Yours, or Do They Belong to Someone Else? Maybe you're reaching for a dream that you adopted from someone else, one that you think you "should" strive for. When times are tough, it may be that you need to Check Back In and Find the Lesson in Life’s Challenges. Things happen for a reason, and taking the time to reflect on the problems you've been experiencing can reveal great clues to what your next steps need to be.
We can be our greatest ally but sometimes we are our greatest enemy. Perhaps there are behaviors that you habitually indulge in that are blocking you from attaining your dreams. You may gain insights from the articles entitled: What Are The Three Habits That Cause Failure? and also, Breaking the Vow of Perfection and of Always Striving but Never Arriving.
Scroll down below for the links to our numerous additional articles this week which focus on a range of articles dealing with parenting, weight loss, climate change, the healthy habit of walking, mental health, cleaning up mercury pollution, and we even take a look at the new charismatic Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.

Meditation is receiving from God. Prayer is petitioning God — it is a giving out. Meditative prayers are a type of supplication to the divine. In this type of meditation, you are making a specific request to the Higher and then receiving the blessing that the divine wishes to give you.

Core values are the things in our lives that we live from that are nonnegotiable. They are at the heart of who we are, and they need to resonate with our heart’s energy. If they don’t, they are not our values but belong to someone else.

The best advice I’ve ever heard is what I will tell you right now: When something in your life goes wrong, look for the lesson that you can learn from this event. Somewhere there is energy that is trying to teach you something.
