Marie T. Russell's Daily Inspiration

The focus for today is:  I choose to heal myself and my world.

When we think of doing renovations, or improving our home, we usually focus on the kitchen, the exterior, the TV room or family room, etc. But the area where we spend the most of our time (if we work outside the home) is our bedroom. This room is the most important for our health and well-being.

The bedroom is where we go to recharge our energy, to rest, to be in silence, to heal, to dream, and perhaps to meditate. This room needs to be peaceful, quiet, calm, soothing, restful, an oasis for the body and soul.

One way to encourage that is by choosing calming colors for the walls and décor. Another is to keep electronics (TV, tablets, phones, etc.) outside of the bedroom. Your bedroom is a space for the God and/or Goddess that reside in your home. Yes, that's you! Treat your bedroom like a sanctuary where you go to renew yourself. It will return the favor by filling you with healing energy.
