The focus for today is: I seek truth in my everyday experiences.
In past times, some young people would leave their families to go join a monastery or convent. Their goal was to "find God". Others would travel the world over in search of a similar goal.
However, we can attain the same goal without having to even leave our home, our job, our city, because teachers of truth and light are everywhere... even in the darkness. And perhaps, especially in the darkness.
Many people will tell you, when asked, that their greatest blessings and teachings came through a challenging situation or challenging person. When we realize that everyone and everything is there for our own enlightenment, life and everyday situations take on a whole different meaning, and we deal with them in a whole different way as well.
