Marie T. Russell's Daily Inspiration

The focus for today is:  I am tuning in to my intuition and becoming spiritually attuned.

Our intuition is an innate gift. We all have it. However, some people are "better" at it, either from the get-go, or they have become better at it through practice. But we can all become more attuned to this inner spiritual guidance.

One important way to be more in tune with our intuition is turning off external sources of noise, and then listening to our own inner chatter. You can do this in meditation, or simply as you go through a quiet time at home, or outdoors. As we pay attention to our "inner voices" we start to differentiate between the "inner critic" voice and the voice of guidance and intuition.

They are pretty easy to tell apart. One is critical, bossy, oftentimes demeaning, and just not very pleasant to have a conversation with. The other, the voice of inner guidance, is usually calm, soothing, and provides assistance and guidance for us in our daily journey through life. The more we listen to it, the easier it becomes to hear it.
