Marie T. Russell's Daily Inspiration

The focus for today is:  I relax, let go, and let my mind empty itself of negative emotions.

Science has discovered that the brain, when we worry, dwell on anger, jealousy, hatred, and other negative emotions, consumes 80% of the body's energy. That only leaves us with 20% to navigate our life.

No wonder many of us end up tired and drained at the end of the day. We're operating with only 20% of our power. Imagine if your car only had 20% of its horsepower, it would not perform very well, if at all.

The more we can empty our brain through meditation or other methods, the more we can relax, let go, and empty the mind of stress and worry. This will leave us with extra energy for creativity and leisure.
