David Crosby and Graham Nash At Occupy Wall StreetDavid Crosby and Graham Nash, two key voices of the Woodstock generation, appeared on Countdown with Keith Olbermann to discuss their visit to Occupy Wall Street. Of course, comparisons were made between today's movement and those of past. Crosby and Nash along with Steve Stills formed the rock super group Crosby, Stills, and Nash who were at the forefront of musical participation in the anti Vietnam war movement.

Folk-rock icons David Crosby and Graham Nash performed for society’s besieged 99 percent in a New York acoustic concert audible to about 99 protesters and press. Music Has Always Been A Big Part of Protest Movements

OWS has seen its share of "protest singers" having been visited earlier by legend Pete Seeger and by Arlo, the son of the legendary protestor Woody Guthrie. Also joining Occupy Wall Street demonstrators recently were Talib Kweli, Kanye West, and Lupe Fiasco. Crosby and Nash sang the hit Déjà vu and those old enough surely felt déjà vued again.

As we certainly have heard, history repeats itself, and for many of the older protestors, this has a taste reminiscent of the past with the 60s protests. However, who will rise to take the place of Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Donvan, and the likes of John Lennon? Thankfully, it seems that the age of Love & Peace is back, hopefully to stay!
