Letting Randy Funnel My Furiousness

pounding the keyboard 4 10

I have not been able to right-write a thing I am willing to publish this last month, You see I am furious. I just want to lash out. Our world, yours and mine, has been turned upside down this past 40 years. I know where the fault lies but I've been unable to funnel that productively, yet. But I am getting close. So I will just let Randy Rainbow do it for me for now.

Randy is a bit quirky I admit, but simply delightful. And if you are a old white man and have homophobic Jew hating right-wing nationalistic white supremacist tendencies at times you are probably not doing your part anyway and you are going to need a checkup.

Here are Randy's last 4 videos. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Highly readable and fully illustrated.

The Energy Glut: Climate Change and the Politics of Fatness

The Energy Glut: Climate Change and the Politics of Fatnessby Ian Roberts. Expertly tells the story of energy in society, and places 'fatness' next to climate change as manifestations of the same fundamental planetary malaise. This exciting book argues that the pulse of fossil fuel energy not only started the process of catastrophic climate change, but also propelled the average human weight distribution upwards. It offers and appraises for the reader a set of personal and political de-carbonising strategies.

Amidst all the horrors taking place these days, I am inspired by the rays of hope that shine through. Ordinary people standing up for what is right (and against what is wrong).
