Sprouted Pea Soup

For those into sprouting, this soup is unique. It is also very successful substituting 2 cups of regular split peas.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water 

  • 2 cups pea sprouts 

  • 1 Tbls. cooking oil of your choice 

  • 1 large onion, chopped 

  • 1 medium potato cubed 

  • 2 small carrots cubed 

  • 1 Tbls. Dulse Granules 

  • 1/4 tsp. Kelp Granules 

  • 1/2 tsp. Nori Granules

Method

  1. Sauté onion, carrots and potato in oil a few minutes
  2. Add water, sprouts and granules and cook slowly for 30-40 minutes or pressure cook for 15 minutes. 

Serves 3 - 4
