Quick Nori Soup

Wild nori's distinctive taste can easily be lost in a complicated recipe. Here's a simple one that's, easy, delicious, and revitalizing. Sea Veggies are a high source of natural nutrients.

Ingredients

  • 5-6 umeboshi plums, pitted and chopped 
    or 2-3 tsp. umeboshi paste 

  • 1/2 cup nori 

  • 2 Tbls. grated daikon or red radish and/or ginger 

  • 3-4 cups boiling water

Method

1. Spread nori pieces on cookie sheet and bake in 350° F oven for 5 -8 minutes, or roast in medium hot skillet until crisp but not burned.

2. Add nori, umeboshi, radish, and/or ginger to pot of boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes. 

Serves 3 or 4.
