Dulse Dressing

Dulse's iron rich taste compliments any lettuce based salad. Here's a simple dressing from Montse Bradford's "Cooking with Sea Vegetables".

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water 
  • 2 Tbls. sesame butter 
  • 1 Tbls. umeboshi paste 
  • 1/2 cup dulse, soaked for 5 minutes, finely sliced 
  • 3 scallions, finely chopped

Method

1. Warm the water, add sesame butter and stir tll creamy.

2. Stir or blend in umeboshi paste thoroughly.

3. Stir in dulse and scallions (and/or parsley or watercress).
