Maple Topped Popcorn

A treat for that sweet tooth using maple syrup instead of processed sugar. Yummy!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups maple syrup

  • Oil or butter

  • 10 to 12 cups popcorn

Method

  1. ADD a little oil or butter to maple syrup.

  2. COOK to soft ball stage or harder for popcorn balls.

  3. POUR warm topping over popcorn.

  4. SHAPE popcorn into balls.

Also great over Rice Dream (a dairy-free "ice cream" health food stores and some supermarkets carry) or gingerbread.
