As
within, so without. Those four words compose one of the most powerful truths
brought to mankind. What happens within is the determinant to what happens
without. Carrying it one step further, in order to change our physical
lives, we must look within for answers.
Someone
asked me in a recent lecture, his face hard set with doubt, "Are you really
enlightened?" He pressed on, again with an expression of someone reluctantly
mining for the truth: "What was it that you were enlightened to?" Laughing,
I answered him, "I was enlightened to the fact that there is nothing to be
enlightened about."
If
you were to observe yourselves very carefully and observe the choices that
you allow yourselves to make in your existence, you would observe the limits
to which you yourselves choose to impose on the joy of your existence. You
would observe the degree to which you limit your joy of existence.
Is
it possible that people who are diagnosed with cancer die of a sophisticated
form of voodoo? Does the victim's belief in the power of vicious cells, like
belief in the power of a hex, lead to his death? "Cancer" is a demon word --
the destructiveness of cancer begins as soon as the diagnosis is uttered.
The word strikes terror to the heart...
The
intensity of the Moon's influence on us varies. The Moon's phase determines
the strength of its involvement in our lives, while the twelve signs of the
Zodiac determine its breadth. For our purposes, the three Moon phases are
the waxing Moon, the waning Moon, and the dark Moon.
