important part of creating our own reality is to ask ourselves a serious
question: Do You Know What You Want? Once we make our choices and look
inside and answer that question, then we can discover The Miracle of
Peacefulness.

higher degree of balance in one's life are the all-too commonly-held myths
and misconceptions about Life Balance and how to achieve it. The purpose of
this chapter is to assist you to navigate through and around those myths.

Decide To Be Happy

Think
of happiness as a goal. You achieve that goal just as you would any other,
through hard work and determination. It may come naturally for you without a
great deal of effort or struggle, or it may be quite challenging. Just as
healthy habits can become second nature, so, too, can happy habits. You must
start somewhere and move forward from there. It gets easier over time and
the small successes feel wonderful.
Dealing
with Depression
by Mark Schwartz.
Nearly all of us feel a little blue or a little down every now and then. It
happens. Occasional temporary feelings of sadness are a natural part of
life. However if you frequently feel this way, or if the feelings are
excessive, you may be suffering from depression. According to the NIMH
(National Institute of Mental Health), approximately 9.5 % of the population
or nearly 19 million adults in the U.S suffer from some form of depression.
Depression can be devastating. Yet it doesn't have to be this way.
Depression is treatable!
Do You Know What You Want?

A knowledge of basic psychology can be extremely useful in giving us
insights into our psyches so that we can learn our true needs. Anne Miller,
a friend of mine, was a mother of five children when she started studying
psychology on her own. From this she learned that she wanted to become a
lawyer, and did so. Today she is a full partner in a very successful law
firm that specializes in criminal law, and her friends continue to be amazed
at her accomplishment.
The
Miracle of Peacefulness

The
people who consult me are often desperately scared. An illness threatens the
length and quality of their lives. They want to be well. They want to be
cured. They want a miracle. Unfortunately, miracles cannot be guaranteed or
produced on demand. What is more certain is our ability to cultivate a sense
of peacefulness and meaning even in the face of illness.

Remember...
Remember, spend some time with your loved ones,
because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because
that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the
only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember, to say "I Love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but
most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it
comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment, for someday that person
will not be there again.
Give time to Love, give time to speak, give time to share the precious
thoughts in your mind.
