It takes effort to hold on to old guilt, grief, and pain, just as grudges and gripes contribute to stress. Forgiveness is releasing rather than accepting. It frees up energy that has been holding stressful patterns in place. When we truly forgive, we release those tightly held patterns and can access more energy. |
