Subject: TS: Voice your opinion about Bush's Speech

Dear Info-Action List Subscribers:

This is a Time Sensitive Action:

On Monday evening, President Bush addressed the nation to make his case against Saddam Hussein.. Thanks to the Internet, you can make YOUR voice heard on this important issue.

ACTION: Log on to http://www.vote.com to tell President Bush -- and also Congress -- what YOU thought of his speech. (Look to the right of the screen under "Active Votes" to find "Bush Addresses America: Did he make a good case against Saddam Hussein?" Once you vote you will be asked to enter your email address and your zip code.)

These are the two choices you will have:

YES: The president succeeded in explaining why Saddam's development of chemical, biological and nuclear weapons makes him the greatest threat to peace that the world faces. The US can no longer wait to deal with him. Action must be taken before it's too late.

NO: Bush's address contained no new revelations; it was just more of the same tired rhetoric that the White House has been using for months. He failed to address concerns about a pre-emptive strike setting a dangerous precedent and disrupting the region.

The votes (at the time I voted -- 1:00 on Tuesday) were running 78% YES and 22% NO. It will only take two minutes to make your voice be heard. Don't delay. Congress is voting this week and it is important that they hear from as many people as possible.
