Has anyone every see real proof that Dhyani Ywahoo (aka Diane Fisher?) is a Cherokee. Check www.newagefraud.org or google Dhyani Ywahoo Fraud and see what others are saying about her. I asked Ms Ywahoo by numerous emails and by messages on her telephone to answer a series of questions to prove her claim (Aug 2008) To date there has not been a single reply. WHY??? Could and I repeat COULD there be a reason why she wouldn't and might that be that Ms Ywahoo COULDN'T. Could it be that she can't provide any proof that she is a Cherokee or that she Ywahoo Lineage doesn't exist or that the Green Band Mountain of Easter Cherkoo which she states she is the CHIEF of doesn't really exist. Why don't you email her and ask her yourself - harold

After having read the article, I find that the importance, for me, is not about the author's background and genealogy, but more about the content of the article... The importance is the message, not the messenger... If the article's message resonates with your own truth, then take it as your own... Sometimes the greatest truths can come to us through the mouth of children, beggars, etc. The importance is for us to apply the truths in our own lives and make sure we are living up to our own purpose and truth, and not worry so much if others are doing the same... Perhaps if we all took care of "the weeds in our own garden" and did not worry so much about the weeds in others' gardens, the world would be a better place... I enjoyed this article and found it to be inspiring... (whoever the author may or may not be) - interested reader

The author's background and genealogy are not important? So, if a charlatan's words "resonate" with those being duped there is value in it...there is some "truth" in this con job? Wow. Diane Fisher (AKA Dhyani Ywahoo) is a con artist plain and simple. But of course, as long as what she says "resonates" with you feel free to give her money. Just don't be surprised when real Indians are offended at this cultural misrepresentation and outright fraud. By the way, Diane Fisher/Ywahoo is NOT a member of the Eastern Cherokee band - and there is NO such thing as the Traditional Etowah Band of Eastern Tsalagi. Don't believe me? Just contact the three legitimate Cherokee bands (Eastern Band in Qualla, Cherokee Nation and Keetoowah, both in Oklahoma) and see what they have to say about "Dhyani Ywahoo." Everything she claims about her heritage and her mystical and ancient "Cherokee" teachings is fraudulent. Everything. I hope this warning has some "resonance" with your readers.

Although I understand the concern for authenticity, it is unfortunate that someone would take such an inspiring article and try to cover it with such negativity. If anyone has proof that she is not who she says she is I believe it should be brought to the attention to the providers of this website, who can deal with it professionally. - Candice Gale
