PBS introduced a new channel in Britain, its first international television venture. As Britain takes its news media to task, an American import, the Public Broadcasting Service, hopes to make a name for itself by offering a sober antidote to the tales of tabloid newspaper excesses that have been leading the news bulletins of late.

The Obama health-care law hangs in the balance, as the Supreme Court opts to hear challenges to its constitutionality. But the case is also about the power of Congress and the role of Supreme Court precedent.

We are often reminded of fearless and rugged entrepreneurs, the captains of industry, or even the baker and candle stick maker down the street. But what about labor?

We don't have to do anything to create a spiritual revolution on our planet, other than embrace spiritual ideas inside our hearts, bypassing our fears and attempting to live this new evolution...

We all have various reasons to complain. Some of them are within our power to change, and others not. We complain about our job, our health, the weather, our neighbors, our kids, our families, our government, the environment, the state of the world... If you want to complain, there is no lack of things to complain about.

We will not be safe until the attitude of true peace is created as the rule of law for persons and nations alike. The human race has come to this precise point in its brief history: change, or perish. How are we to dismantle the attitude of militarism and install the attitude of peace, within our own minds and within the very structure of society?
