The West Wing - Bible Lesson

bartlett president quotes bible

As the 2012 election season ramps up, some evangelical pastors are calling for the 30 million "church-going" to not just participate, but to turn the "heathen tide" out of office. Modern day evangelicals would have us believe the solution to all our problems are in the Old Testament.

Are the answers really in the Old Testament or would we be best served by following the New  Testament and the words and teachings of Christ -- love thy neighbor.

Hear what "President" Jed Bartlett from West Wing had to say about taking the teachings of the  Bible (specifically the Old Testament) literally... He even quotes chapter and verse to back it up! Humorous, educational, and enlightening at the same time.
