Essential oil, saponins, ephedrine
and other alkaloids.
Uses:
Decongestant, appetite
suppressant. Assists in fluid elimination, relieving bronchial spasm,
and central nervous system stimulation. Recommended for: allergies,
asthma, colds, and other respiratory complaints, as well as for
depression and obesity. May decrease and elevate mood. Not to be used in
cases of panic attacks, glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, or
in combination with MAO inhibitor drugs prescribed for depression.
